I am a birth and postpartum doula, committed to providing physical support, practical knowledge and emotional accompaniment, centred around you, the birthing person, your intentions for birth and your unique needs.

For many people navigating pregnancy and birth amidst the current social and cultural norms, can be very overwhelming. As your doula, I believe that preparing for labour and birth through education, birth mapping, and diving deep into your current beliefs around birth, can in some ways offer an antidote to this. Getting to know you as your doula, I will provide a calm and attuned presence during your labour, birth and postpartum so that I can remind you of your power, of your intentions, and help you decipher routine policy from what is specific to you and your baby. Finding continuity of care in our current maternity system is hard, and having me as your doula will provide this much needed continuity of support and care with a known person during this time.

I support birth both at home, and in hospital as I believe that you have the right to choose where you birth your baby, and to make informed decisions around the care you receive. At the core of all my offerings though is a passion and trust in natural physiological birth. I have lived experience of birthing in both systems as well as supporting many birthing families at home and in hospital.
